Dr. Sharon Berger

Biography

Sharon Berger, MD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor specializing in Gynecology at NYU Langone Health. She is passionate about women's health and provides a range of gynecologic services including annual screenings, family planning, and cancer prevention. Fluent in English and Hebrew, Dr. Berger is dedicated to educating her patients about health issues, especially adolescents regarding contraception and sexually transmitted diseases. She has a strong belief in preventive medicine and emphasizes the importance of screenings and annual exams. Dr. Berger's medical training includes a fellowship at Family Health Centers NYU Langone and a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Assaf Harofeh Medical Center. She graduated with an MD from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2006. Her clinical interests encompass various conditions affecting women's reproductive health, including abnormal pap test results, menstrual disorders, and infertility. She believes in personalized patient care, taking the time to respect each individual's cultural differences and addressing their specific health concerns.
