Biography

Sharon Bord, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She attended medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Bord is actively involved in undergraduate and graduate medical education, serving as a member of the Teaching College and co-director of the required medical student clerkship in emergency medicine. Her work focuses on developing new curriculum and assessment materials, including observed structured clinical exams. At the national level, she is a member of the Committee on Emergency Medicine Residency Directors and the Clerkship Directors in Emergency Medicine, and she serves on the editorial board of a review question book. Dr. Bord is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active.
