Biography

Sharon Park Keh, O.D., F.A.A.O. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Optometric Sciences at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University. She has previously served as an Associate Clinical Professor at the State University of New York College of Optometry since 2013. Dr. Keh holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of Michigan. Her expertise lies in cornea contact lenses and she has completed a residency at the Ophthalmic Consultants of New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. In addition to her practice, Dr. Keh is a dedicated educator with extensive experience teaching optometry students at various levels, from first-year courses to advanced clinical electives, covering topics such as contact lenses, clinical case management, and ocular conditions. Her research interests include evaluating soft contact lenses for myopia control, scleral contact lenses, and assessing axial eye length changes in pediatric patients using optical head-mounted displays. Dr. Keh has served as a principal investigator in studies funded by Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. and Kubota Vision, Inc. She is a licensed optometrist in New York and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, recognized for her contributions with awards such as the Vistakon Award for Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care and the Jack Wolfe Memorial Scholarship.
