Dr. Sharon O Hara

Biography

Sharon O’Hara holds a Doctorate in Public Health and has extensive experience in both research and teaching within the field of public health. She is a Lecturer in the Public Health Program at the University of California, Berkeley, where she leads courses both on-campus and online for the Master of Public Health. Her work focuses on integrating innovative methodologies and educational practices into public health education. O’Hara is also involved in several research projects that explore the implications of CRISPR technology in public health, contributing to her expertise in contemporary health issues. With her dual background in practical and theoretical aspects of public health, she strives to empower her students with the knowledge and skills needed to tackle current health challenges in diverse communities.
