Dr. Shashwati Pradhan

Biography

Shashwati Pradhan, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago. She has completed her fellowship in Pediatric Adolescent Gynecology at the National Institutes of Health/Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Pradhan pursued her residency in Obstetric Gynecology at Ohio State University, after obtaining her MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. Her research interests primarily focus on Pediatric Adolescent Gynecology, with significant contributions in managing adolescent patients with conditions such as endometriosis. She has authored multiple manuscripts on topics including hormonal contraceptives, intrauterine devices, and the complexities of mullerian anomalies. Dr. Pradhan is committed to advancing women's health care through her clinical practice and research endeavors.
