Biography

Shaun Vahey joined Warwick Business School in August 2013. He previously taught at the University of Cambridge, University of British Columbia, Claremont McKenna College, Melbourne Business School, and the Australian National University. Shaun has delivered executive-level education for institutions such as the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, Norges Bank, Negara Malaysia, and the Australian Treasury. His research has been published in prestigious academic journals including the American Economic Review, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, Journal of Applied Econometrics, and the Economic Journal. Shaun has also served as a Bank Official at the Bank of England and as a Senior Adviser at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, lending his expertise as a Special Adviser to Norges Bank. He has experience as a visiting scholar at both the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and Norges Bank, and has provided consultancy services that include forecasting advice for Rio Tinto. Shaun earned his PhD from the University of British Columbia in 1995.
