Biography

Shawn Jin is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Kaiser Permanente with a focus on enhancing medical education and supporting immigrant and refugee children and adolescents through the use of technology and data. He is currently a preceptor for medical students on psychiatry rotations and serves on the faculty of the psychiatry residency. In his role, he supervises residents during child psychiatry rotations and is the faculty lead for the sub-internship rotation program, developing opportunities for students in child psychiatry and adult intensive outpatient programs. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, he completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital after his residency at Harvard South Shore Psychiatry Residency Program. He is a double alumnus of Boston University, having received degrees from Sargent College/Kilachand Honors College and Boston University Medical School.
