Biography

Sheila Schueller is a Lecturer in Ecosystem Science Management at the University of Michigan's School for Environment and Sustainability, where she teaches courses on field-based ecology and conservation. Her academic journey includes earning both a Master's and PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Michigan. Schueller also has experience as the Assistant Director of the Ecosystem Management Initiative and has worked as an instructional consultant for the University's Center for Research on Learning and Teaching. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes the integration of student research with real-world data, particularly in the realms of natural resource management and biodiversity.
