Biography

Shelley Harris is an Adjunct Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto, specializing in epidemiology with a focus on occupational and environmental health. She holds a Ph.D. in Epidemiology, with minors in Biostatistics and Occupational Environmental Health, from the University of Toronto, as well as an MSc in Environmental Toxicology and a BSc in Environmental Biology from the University of Guelph. Her research interests include occupational environmental cancer epidemiology, exposure measurement and prediction, and the assessment of risks related to pesticides and other environmental contaminants. Over the years, Dr. Harris has been involved in numerous biological monitoring studies and has served as a committee member for various doctoral programs. She is currently accepting doctoral students and has contributed to multiple significant research projects examining environmental exposures and their relationship with health outcomes, particularly in young women.
