Biography

Dr. Shelley Kirychuk is a Professor and Director of the Canadian Centre for Rural Agricultural Health at the University of Saskatchewan. She holds a BSc, MBA, MSc, and PhD, with her doctoral research focusing on Occupational Hygiene and the particulate distribution relationship with endotoxin in poultry operations. Dr. Kirychuk is deeply involved in the Epidemiology of rural agricultural-related exposures and their effects on respiratory health outcomes. She contributes significantly to the academic community, serving as an Associate member of the School of Public Health and the College of Nursing and Community Health and Epidemiology. Furthermore, she is Co-PI Director of the CIHR-STIHR Public Health Agricultural Rural Ecosystem Training Program, leading advances in National Agricultural Industrial Hygiene laboratories.
