Biography

Shengding Sun is a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics with a focus on Mathematics, particularly in Operations Research. He has a keen interest in studying the underlying mathematical structures and geometries of optimization problems, seeking to elucidate the efficiency and performance of algorithms in practice. Following his doctoral studies, he worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge, supervised by Hamza Fawzi.
