Biography

Sheri M. McConnell is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at Memorial University of Newfoundland. McConnell holds a PhD in Social Work, which she completed in 2015 at Memorial University, along with an MSW in 2002 and a BSW in 1998 from the University of Regina. She has a range of experience in social work and human services, including advocacy, clinical work, urban and rural community development, and consulting. McConnell has presented at multiple conferences and has authored various peer-reviewed articles and program manuals, focusing on topics such as gender diversity, social work education, and violence prevention.
