Biography

Sherri Helwig is a faculty member in the longest-running undergraduate Arts Management program in Canada at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) since 2003. She currently serves as a member of the executive of the University of Toronto Faculty Association (UTFA) and is the President of the Canadian Association Arts Administration Educators (CAAAE). Helwig is also on the editorial board of the American Journal of Arts Management. She functions as an artsVest™ organizational governance mentor for senior staff on boards of arts, culture, and heritage organizations across Canada. In addition, Sherri has a diverse professional practice as an independent arts consultant with clients that range from local to international cultural organizations and government agencies. She is a founding member of Arts Consultants Canada (ACCA).
