Biography

Shervin Bagheri is a professor in the Division of Fluid Mechanics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He leads a research group established in 2017 focusing on the understanding of fundamental mechanisms and transport processes in flowing fluids. His research combines numerical calculations and experiments to develop new knowledge and tools for researchers and engineers to address critical technical challenges. His work has been funded by prominent organizations including the Swedish Research Council, the Swedish Energy Agency, the Foundation for Strategic Research, the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, and the European Research Council. Shervin is also dedicated to outreach activities related to research policy and is a member of the Young Academy of Sweden from 2020 to 2025.
