Biography

Sheryl Zelenitsky is a professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Manitoba, deeply committed to integrating pharmacy research with practice. Dr. Zelenitsky is a member of professional associations and has chaired the board of the Canadian Society Hospital Pharmacists Foundation, supporting advances in pharmacy practice in Canada. Her research focuses on optimizing antimicrobial use for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, especially in high-risk populations. She has published extensively on antibiotic dosing guidelines for surgical prophylaxis in dialysis patients.
