Biography

Professor Shigenori Matsui joined the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in January 2006 and currently serves as the Director of Japanese Legal Studies. He has had a distinguished academic career, previously holding the position of associate professor at Osaka University Law School from April 1983 to March 1994 and becoming a full professor there from April 1994 to December 2005.
