Biography

Shira Walinsky is a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania's Stuart Weitzman School of Design, where she teaches in the M.F.A. program in Painting. With an educational background that includes an M.F.A. in Painting from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Film History and Fine Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, she has been actively involved in creating murals in Philadelphia through the Mural Arts Program.
