Biography

Shiri Melumad is an Associate Professor in the Marketing Department at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on consumer psychology, technology usage, new media, user-generated content, and digital marketing. She has published her work in leading academic journals, such as the Journal of Consumer Research and the Journal of Marketing Research. Shiri holds both a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Marketing from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business, as well as a B.A. in Psychology from Columbia University. Through her teaching, she aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of consumer behavior and the application of buyer behavior concepts in marketing decisions.
