Shiva Mohajernia is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta, Canada. His research focuses on energy materials, particularly in developing novel materials for photocatalytic and electrocatalytic energy conversion applications. Current research topics include the design and fabrication of single-atom decorated materials and defect engineering in semiconductors for energy-related applications, as well as the production of value-added chemicals through electrocatalysis and photocatalytic hydrogen generation.
