Dr. Shivani Desai

Biography

Shivani Desai is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Her clinical focus includes Autism, Developmental Disabilities, Eating Disorders, and Clinical Psychology. Desai completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University in Child Psychology and has also undertaken an internship at the University of Minnesota’s Department of Psychiatry. Desai obtained her PhD from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She is involved in professional education and clinical practice at the Child Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic, where she applies her expertise in developmental psychology and interventions for children and adolescents.
