Biography

Shobhit Aggarwal is an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Carnegie Mellon's Manufacturing Futures Institute, where he leverages his expertise in product development and robotics. He specializes in manufacturing digitization and oversees a robotic assembly/disassembly testbed at Mill 19. This testbed includes four industrial robot arms equipped with sensors used to advance robotic assembly and disassembly processes, utilizing Lego® bricks. Shobhit earned his bachelor’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and his master’s degree in Integrated Innovation from Carnegie Mellon University. He is passionate about driving advancements in robotics and the digitization of manufacturing processes, committed to finding innovative solutions in this rapidly evolving field.
