Biography

Shoufu Yin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at the University of British Columbia. He specializes in the intellectual and political cultures of China and Inner Asia from the eleventh to the seventeenth centuries. His research interests extend to global histories of political thought and imagination. Shoufu is currently finalizing two book manuscripts: 'China Sinitic Rhetoric Search World, 1100–1600' and 'Experiments Collective Government: Chinese Political Thought, 700-1200'.
