Shuchi Chawla is an Endowed Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin and an Amazon Scholar. A theoretical computer scientist, she specializes in algorithm design and the economics of computation. Shuchi earned her Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University and her B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Before joining UT Austin, she spent 15 years as a professor in the Computer Science department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
