Biography

Shujie Zhou is a postdoctoral research associate in the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney). He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from UNSW in 2023. His research interests lie in solar energy conversion and green chemical production, with a particular focus on developing sustainable processes for value-added product generation through (photo)electrochemical approaches. This includes catalyst design, catalytic mechanism studies, and reactor development aimed at enhancing efficiency and scalability. Shujie is also affiliated with the Australian Research Council Training Centre for the Global Hydrogen Economy and the Centre of Excellence for Carbon Science and Innovation.
