Biography

Shuman Xia is an Associate Professor at the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech, beginning his tenure in Fall 2011. Dr. Xia has received several distinguished awards, including the Orr Early Career Award from ASME in 2012 and the Haythornthwaite Research Initiation Grant, also from ASME, in the same year.
