Shuwen Yue joined the Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in the Summer of 2023. His work incorporates physics-based and data-driven approaches to guide the bottom-up design of electrolytes, interfaces, and catalytic environments, targeting improved control over phase behavior and chemical reactivity. Shuwen's expertise is grounded in statistical mechanics, molecular simulations, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and aims to advance catalysis, energy storage, and sustainable chemistry.
