Biography

Shweta Mital is an Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy, University of Manitoba, specializing in health economics. Her research focuses on evaluating the economic value of healthcare interventions, including cost-effectiveness analysis of new drugs, devices, screening technologies, and pharmacist services. From 2014 to 2017, she served as a research assistant in health economics at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore. Shweta obtained her PhD in Pharmacy at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2021, specializing in health economics, and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the same institution before joining the University of Manitoba in January 2023.
