Biography

Siba Haykal is an Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine and serves as the Section Chief of Reconstructive Oncology in the Division of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery. She holds a PhD in tissue engineering with a focus on tracheal reconstruction. Her research interests include vascularized composite allotransplantation and stem cell applications for tissue repair. Dr. Haykal is also an accomplished author with over 50 peer-reviewed publications and has received several prestigious awards throughout her career, highlighting her contributions to the field of reconstructive surgery and her commitment to patient care.
