Biography

Siddharth Krishnan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and a Terman Faculty Fellow at Stanford University. He completed his BS and MS degrees at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a PhD at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he worked in the group of Prof. John Rogers. His research has focused on the development of bioelectronic devices for sensing and therapeutics. He has published over 20 scientific papers and is an inventor on granted and pending patents. He co-founded Rhaeos Inc., a company dedicated to translating his graduate work on wireless wearable diagnostic tools for neurological surgery. His work has earned several prestigious awards, including the K99/R00 Pathway Independence Award from the NIH, the Illinois Innovation Prize, and recognition on MIT Technology Review’s Global Innovators 35 list.
