Dr. Siddra Qayyum

Biography

Siddra Qayyum is a Casual Academic at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, specializing in construction quality-related risks in public-private partnership infrastructure projects using the Six Sigma approach. She obtained her Ph.D. in Built Environment at UNSW in 2020, following her Master’s in Construction Engineering & Management from NUST, Islamabad. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Building and Architectural Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan. With five years of industry experience as a Construction Manager, she has worked with various firms including Malik Abdul Hanan & Sons and Sefam Pvt. Ltd. Siddra's academic contributions include participation in various research activities and conferences, where she has demonstrated her expertise and innovation in the field of construction management. She has been recognized with awards such as the Research Training Program scholarship from the Australian Government and a Joint Paper Award for her conference paper examining real estate technology utilization. Her research focuses on addressing critical issues faced by stakeholders in the construction sector.
