Dr. Sijung Yun

Biography

Sijung Yun is a distinguished computational biologist and bioinformatic scientist specializing in genomic data analysis. With a Ph.D. in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Dr. Yun focuses extensively on bioinformatics analysis to advance healthcare, primarily in Dr. Gill’s lab. Their work predominantly involves Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis, DNA sequencing (DNA-seq), RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), and Chromatin Immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq). Since 2017, Dr. Yun has served as an adjunct faculty member in the Advanced Academic Programs at the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, Johns Hopkins University, where they teach genomic data analysis.
