Biography

Silke-Maria Weineck is an Associate Chair and a Professor in the fields of German Studies and Comparative Literature at the University of Michigan. In addition to her publications, Weineck has collaborated on essays focusing on contemporary themes in literature and sports economics. She serves on the steering committee for 'Context Classics,' a faculty initiative exploring the influence of antiquity in the modern world, and has participated in various academic discussions about literature, philosophy, and cultural practices throughout history.
