Dr. Simanjit Mand

Biography

Simanjit Mand, MD, is an Assistant Professor (CHS) in the field of Emergency Medicine at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Dr. Mand completed her medical education at the University of Michigan, followed by a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She continued her training with a fellowship in Ultrasound at the same institution. Dr. Mand has a dedicated interest in resident education and mentorship, particularly in enhancing clinical ultrasound skills among residents. She is passionate about finding ways to promote social impact and belonging within her residency department. Outside of her academic pursuits, Dr. Mand enjoys traveling internationally and experiencing diverse cuisines, although she humorously admits to a guilty pleasure for reality TV shows.
