Since February 2023, I have been a doctoral student at the Environmental Science Humanities Institute of the University of Fribourg. In my doctoral thesis, I focus on the normative implications of climate loss and damage—negative effects of climate change that cannot be avoided. I am particularly interested in the institutionalization of climate justice for these losses and damages and the ethical challenges associated, such as issues of procedural justice at local and international levels. I obtained my bachelor's degree in philosophy and political science from the University of Lucerne and a master's degree in the history and philosophy of knowledge from ETH Zurich.
Requirements apply to English-taught Master programs across SES and Science faculties.
