Biography

Simon Viel is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Carleton University, specializing in Experimental Particle Physics. His current research focuses on the development of software for detector simulation and event reconstruction, as well as data analysis within next-generation liquid argon experiments aimed at detecting dark matter.
