Sinne Borby Ørtenblad is a researcher at the University of Copenhagen, focusing on agrarian transformation in the Global South. Her PhD study examines domestic food value chains of selected vegetables in Thailand, analyzing transformations spurred by the emergence and diffusion of modern food retailers and their impact on local development.
