Siobhan Barry is a Senior Lecturer at the Manchester School of Architecture, where she serves as the Academic Lead for Pastoral Care Inclusion and leads for MArch students repeating without attendance. She is an internationally respected academic researcher with expertise in bioclimatic architecture, ecotonal adaptation processes, aviation exhibition design, and applied psychological pedagogy aimed at improving performance in high-pressure situations. Additionally, Siobhan has been a founding member of the QED Research Unit and has taken on leadership roles within the Biomimetics Research Unit and the BArch Programme. She is also the Co-Chair of Manchester Metropolitan University’s Disabled Staff Forum and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Higher Education Academy, with a track record of international presentations and consulting on sustainable development strategies in architectural practice and regional government.
