Biography

Siobhan Wills is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the School of Chemistry at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). She completed her Bachelor of Science in International (Honours) Chemistry at the University of Western Australia (UWA), where she also undertook her PhD focused on carbohydrate chemistry under the supervision of Associate Professor Keith Stubbs. Following her doctoral studies, she gained valuable experience as a postdoctoral researcher in the research department at Bayer Crop Science in Frankfurt, Germany. After returning to Australia, she took on the role of Lecturer at UNSW. Her research interests lie at the intersection of chemistry education and scholarship in teaching and learning, with a keen focus on carbohydrate chemistry and small molecule synthesis. Siobhan is dedicated to enhancing chemistry education and fostering a deeper understanding of chemical principles in her students.
