Dr. Siri Greeley

Biography

Dr. Siri Atma W. Greeley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Chicago. She is an internationally recognized expert in monogenic diabetes, with a research focus that spans neonatal diabetes and congenital diabetes. Dr. Greeley has made substantial contributions to the understanding of monogenic forms of diabetes, particularly through her role as chair of an international effort to develop consensus guidelines for the diagnosis and management of these rare conditions. She has developed the University of Chicago Monogenic Diabetes Registry, which is a significant resource for understanding the phenotypic and genotypic correlations of diabetes in patients diagnosed at an early age. Over the years, Dr. Greeley has published extensively on the subject, contributing to over 50 publications that have drawn international attention in the field. In addition to her research, she actively participates in educational activities and has been invited to speak at numerous national meetings including those held by the American Diabetes Association and the Pediatric Endocrine Society.
