Dr. Smrity Randhawa

Biography

Smrity P. Randhawa is a Professor of Clinical Accounting at the USC Marshall School of Business. She is an esteemed accounting scholar whose areas of expertise include financial accounting, valuation, corporate governance, and disclosure. Randhawa holds a PhD in Business from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. Her research has particularly focused on the effects of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act on small public companies. At Marshall, she teaches a variety of courses, ranging from Introductory Accounting for undergraduate students to Financial Statement Analysis at the graduate level. In addition to her teaching, she provides consulting services related to bankruptcy analysis and fair value accounting measurements. She has been quoted in prominent publications, offering insights on pivotal accounting issues.
