Biography

Snehal Banerjee's research interests include learning disagreement in financial markets, liquidity, and behavioral finance. His current research involves studying how investors acquire information in financial markets, the influence of firms' disclosure decisions on investor behavior, and the effect of regulatory policy on the information environment and economic welfare. Snehal earned a B.A. in Economics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from Brandeis University and a Ph.D. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. Before joining the Ross School of Business, he was an Associate Professor of Finance at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and at the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego.
