Sofia Gustafsson is a Senior Associate Professor in history at Linköping University, where she has been employed since late 2009. She received her PhD in history from Stockholm University in 2007, and subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute for Comparative Urban History in Münster, Germany.
