Biography

Sonia Cerquozzi completed her Internal Medicine Hematology training at the University of Calgary in 2015 and subsequently pursued an advanced hematology fellowship focused on myeloid disorders at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Her work involves oversight of biobanking related to myeloid cancers and she has mentored hematology fellows in research methodologies, focusing on the collection and analysis of clinical data. Additionally, she is committed to translational research to identify molecular targets for future therapies, with an eye toward expanding her biobank efforts to include a broader range of myeloid malignancies.
