Dr. Sonia Gauthier

Biography

Sonia Gauthier is an Associate Professor at the School of Social Work. She is a member of the Applied and Interdisciplinary Research on Intimate, Familial and Structural Violence Network and a researcher in the Team "Domestic Violence: Actors in Context and Innovative Practices". Her research focuses on judicial and socio-judicial interventions concerning domestic violence, specialized domestic violence courts, and civil protection orders. She is also concerned with the risks of secondary victimization associated with criminal judicial intervention.
