Sonia Moran Panero joined the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at the University of Southampton in 2017. Her research interests center on sociolinguistics and the ideological and social dimensions of English language use, particularly in global and educational contexts. Her recent projects explore language ontologies, identities, and the impact of English as a lingua franca in multilingual settings.
