Sonja Ammann has been a Professor of the Old Testament at the Faculty of Theology at the University of Basel since 2017 and currently serves as Research Dean. From 2019 to 2024, she led the SNF-Eccellenza Project "Transforming Memories Collective Violence Hebrew Bible".
