Sonja Härtle is a scientific assistant and a veterinary specialist in immunology at the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich. Her research focuses on the development and differentiation of the B-cell system in chickens as well as the immune response of chickens to Influenza A virus infections. She also employs a retroviral gene transfer system, RCAS, for functional genomic analysis in chickens.
