Sonny Cejic grew up in Windsor and came to London to study at Western University. He graduated with an M.Sc. in Reproductive Physiology and a B.Ed. in High School Education. After medical school, Cejic returned to London for a family medicine residency at the Byron Family Medicine Centre, where he worked alongside Dr. Tom Freeman, who later became the chair of the Department of Family Medicine. His passion has driven him to help design and author medical websites, teach Medical Informatics to residents and faculty, and assist medical centres in the adoption of electronic medical records. His research interests focus on electronic medical records, patient portals, and the application of artificial intelligence in medicine.
