Biography

Sophie-Jan Arrien is a full professor at the Faculty of Philosophy at Laval University. After completing her master's degree at Bochum University and Laval University, she became a research fellow at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris and served as a visiting scholar at Lincoln College, Oxford University. Her awards also include the Excellence in Teaching Award for supervision at the graduate level in 2018.
