Biography

Sophie Stotz has a strong background in biochemistry, focusing on both in vitro and in vivo work. Her research is primarily centered on translational research using radiopharmaceuticals to detect and treat diseases. She completed her PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) at the Werner Siemens Imaging Center in Germany, where she developed advanced novel radiotracers and tools for reporter gene imaging to detect cancer in preclinical applications. Stotz works with Professor Herth to expand her knowledge in neuroscience and pretargeted imaging. In addition to her research, she is passionate about teaching and training young scientists, actively engaging with international imaging societies.
